Gingerbread House Decorating Dec.7th

                                                           

Dear Parents

On December 7th we are going to make gingerbread houses and we would love it if you could join us at 11:00 in the Home Ec. Room to help us out.

Instead of using real gingerbread we will be making the houses out of a milk carton form and graham wafers.

Each child will need:

-candies or cereal for trim (Smarties, jelly beans, chocolate chips, Cheerios, old Halloween candy, etc. )

- Graham crackers-a 400g box-the extras will go home

-butter knife

- One recipe for icing (see attached page)

Dress Up Days for Next Week and Student Led Conferences

The SRC will be hosting a spirit week from November 7 – 10^th.  Each day that week is a dress up day as follows:

Tuesday – Voter Day (Clinton supporters wear blue, Trump supporters wear red)

Thursday – Formal Day

There will be no formal report card for Kindergarten this first reporting period. The portfolio will show the data collected for the Early Years Evaluation. At the student led conference I will be going over the results of this assessment.
